Take Our Holiday Challenge: $2,500 in 15 Days!

We did it!

 $2,500 by December 31st!

Feeding the hungry, empowering homeless youth, caring for seniors — these are just of few examples of the great work our grassroots organizations did this year to serve more than 150,000 children and families. As A Home for Nonprofits, the Coalition works behind the scenes so that grassroots organizations can focus on what they do best, improve lives. During this season of giving, help us continue to build a powerful platform to support grassroots organizations.

Because of the Coalition, our programs deliver services that improve the quality of life in our communities.

Here are a few examples:

  • Working with a mostly volunteer staff, the West Chester Food Cupboard is helping to bring healthy food choices to the elderly and families on fixed incomes.
  • As head of Opportunities PA, Justina Shaw is helping homeless young adults become self-sufficient. “I started this organization out of my belief that just because youth are without a home doesn’t mean they are unable to succeed in life.”
  • Through Grand Central, Director Chartan Nelson is providing support to seniors who find themselves the primary caregiver of their grandchildren or other children. “Grand Central helps relieve the stress of parenting as a senior by getting them the resources they need to care for their children.”
