Do you know a high school student between the ages of 13-18 who is in need of a college scholarship? Coca-Cola is now accepting nominations for their 2015 Pay It Forward program that includes a $5,000 dollar scholarship and a mentorship with Steve Harvey. The Pay It Forward program is desined to help teens to reach greater heighhts, providing a three-day mentorship, leadership, and networking opportunity at the Pay It Foward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Hardy Williams Foundation (HWEF) is now offering scholarships to students in and around the Philadelphia area who embody the legacy of late, Honorable Hardy Wiliams, displaying leadership and a passion for change. High school, undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a career in law or social justice are encouraged to apply.

The People’s Emergency Center (PEC) will host their Energy (and Money) Saver Workshop on Thursday, March 26th from 7pm-8pm at the PEC’s West Philadelphia office and will teach people how to save money by saving energy in their homes. Instructors will demonstrate how to install self-help energy saving materials and will provide these materials free of charge to each household that attends.

Want to learn what's the recipe for success? Come join local culinary professionals at the Center for Culinary Enterprises in The Enterprise Center on Tuesday, May 28, 2015. The submission deadline is Wednesday, March 11, 2015.

The Enterprise Center will host the Cooking Up Success culinary competition on Tuesday, May 28th at the Center for Culinary Enterprises. Local culinary professionals will select top finalists in three different categories including Innovative Food Creation, Emerging Food Business and Innovative Collaboration. Friends, family and guests will then vote on these finalists as they present their "Philly Made" dishes. The winner of the contest will be awarded $50,000 dollars.
