The Urban Affairs Coalition and the UAC Foreclosure Prevention Task Force are pleased to present the Foreclosure Prevention Resource Guide, Winter/Spring 2011 Edition. The Guide is designed to help professional housing counselors and homeowners, in the Philadelphia five-county region, better navigate the mortgage foreclosure process and the foreclosure prevention programs available to homeowners.
The guide comes out bi-annually and there are a few updates since the last edition:
The Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations recently released an updated version of the Standards for Excellence Program. This program is the premier ethics and accountability program for the nonprofit sector. Standards for Excellence offers a variety of resources to strengthen nonprofit governance and operations in an effect to improve accountability to the public and donors. The Pennsylvania Association for Nonprofit Organizations will hold a roll-out event for this new version of Standards for Excellence on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

On Wednesday, April 22 City Officials and area employers will join the Urban Affairs Coalition’s Community and Economic Development Committee to celebrate a program that creates value for all stakeholders involved.
On Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 9am-5pm and Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 12:30pm-4pm, The Philadelphia Black Political Coalition will host The Philadelphia Black Political Summit at Dobbins CTE High School at 2150 Lehigh Avenue. The Summit is open to all individuals and organizations in the Black community interested in participating in the development of a collective Black agenda.
