Patterned off TEDx style talks, SEXx Interactive is a multi-day sex-positive conference featuring workshops, academic presentations, art galleries, and performances. The Hardy Williams Foundation (HWEF) is now offering scholarships to students in and around the Philadelphia area who embody the legacy of late, Honorable Hardy Wiliams, displaying leadership and a passion for change. The People’s Emergency Center (PEC) will host their Energy (and Money) Saver Workshop on Thursday, March 26th from 7pm-8pm at the PEC’s West Philadelphia office and will teach people how to save money by saving energy in their homes. Instructors will demonstrate how to install self-help energy saving materials and will provide these materials free of charge to each household that attends.

On Saturday, March 7, 2015, State Senator Shirley M. Kitchen and Fox Chase Cancer Center will bring Fox Chase Cancer Center Mammogram Mobile to Senator Kitchen's district office located 1701 W. Lehigh Avenue beginning at 9am. Women who are over 40 and have a prescription from their doctor will be eligible to receive mammograms. In addition, the first 20 women who are screened will receive a free gift card.

Linda Wagner will be offering words of inspiration to just say no to drugs. This event will take place at ODAAT's headquarters located on 2532 North Broad Street.

The NAADAC is now accepting applications for the NAADAC Minority Fellowship Program for Addiction Counselors (NMFP-AC). The deadline to apply is Saturday, February 28, 2015.

The NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, is now accepting application for the NAADAC Minority Fellowship Program for Addiction Counselors (NMFP-AC). Funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the NMFP-AC will provide at least 30 master’s students with tuition stipends of up to $20,000 dollars, education, training and mentorship.

Calling all poets, rappers, vocalists and lyricists! If you are between the ages of 10-18, we encourage you to showcase your talent at the 2015 PAAN Slam.

UAC Program Partner Philadelphia Anti-Drug/Anti-Violence Network (PAAN) will host their 2015 PAAN Slam on Wednesday, February 4th at the Pearl Movie Theater at 1600 N Broad. All poets, rappers, vocalists and lyricists ages 10-18 are welcome, however participants cannot use profanity, vulgar language or sexual explicit content. Those interested in performing must arrive at 3:30pm for auditions and material review.
