Want to learn what's the recipe for success? Come join local culinary professionals at the Center for Culinary Enterprises in The Enterprise Center on Tuesday, May 28, 2015. The submission deadline is Wednesday, March 11, 2015.

The Enterprise Center will host the Cooking Up Success culinary competition on Tuesday, May 28th at the Center for Culinary Enterprises. Local culinary professionals will select top finalists in three different categories including Innovative Food Creation, Emerging Food Business and Innovative Collaboration. Friends, family and guests will then vote on these finalists as they present their "Philly Made" dishes. The winner of the contest will be awarded $50,000 dollars.

Celebrating 31 years of giving

For 31 years, Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) has worked with community groups, churches and elected officials to provide some of Philadelphia’s most needy families with a Thanksgiving dinner. Last year UAC with partners Brown’s Shoprite distributed 1,000 baskets, feeding 6,000 individuals. Due to an increased demand, this year’s goal is to feed 1,100 families.

Family Day event will be a day filled with important and relevant resource information for the community, DJ and magician, clown with balloon, zumba dancing, free mildly used clothing, free hot dogs, prizes as well as other fun events.

ODAAT is dedicated to serving low-income and homeless individuals in the Philadelphia area who are afflicted by addiction and HIV/AIDS. Our focus is on providing peer support and promoting healthy, positive lifestyles. ODAAT utilizes a community-based recovery model and support system, allowing people to recover in the same environment in which they became addicted.
