Fight to Begin Opening 27 Public Computing Centers with April 26th Ribbon Cutting Event

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia FIGHT will officially open the first of 27 public computing centers it will manage on Tuesday, April 26th with a ribbon cutting reception from 3-5 PM. Mayor Michael Nutter, Congressman Bob Brady, and numerous members of

the AIDS Service community are expected to join the celebration at FIGHT’s offices: 1233 Locust Street, 3rd Floor. The computing centers were made possible through $18.2 million in grant funding from the Federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act’s Broadband Technology Opportunity Program (B-TOP).

Our focus is on providing peer support and promoting healthy, positive lifestyles. ODAAT utilizes a community-based recovery model and support system, allowing people to recover in the same environment in which they became addicted.
