The District's Back to School Event is designed to help Philadelphia-area school students and their families as they prepare to return to school. With the help of many great partners and sponsors, backpacks, school supplies, health screenings, and social service resources are provided to thousands of students, free of charge.

Rebuild Info Session

Come to this free information session from 4:30pm- 6:00pm for small, local contractors to learn more about working on Rebuild projects and about supports available to small businesses.


Rebuilding Community Infrastructure (Rebuild) is a seven-year, $500 million investment in Philadelphia's parks, recreation centers, playgrounds and libraries.  Proposed in Mayor Jim Kenney's first budget as a part of his vision for a more equitable Philadelphia, Rebuild will improve pivotal community spaces, empower and engage communities, and promote economic opportunity through diversity and inclusion.
