On Friday, November 21, 2014, UAC celebrated 45 years of driving change from the ground up at its 45th Anniversary Breakfast in Center City Philadelphia. Newly elected Governor Tom Wolf attended the event and spoke to nearly 1,000 attendees about the importance of building healthy cities for a healthy commonwealth.

Philadelphia Anti-Drug/Anti-Violence Network (PAAN) advisory board member receives a prestigious award at the 2015 Annual Benefit Reception and Auction.

The Support Center for Child Advocates will honor George D. Morse Jr., an Advisory Board member of Philadelphhia Anti-Drug/ Anti-Violence Network's (PAAN) and Philadelphia's Deputy District Attorney, with the Distinguished Advocates for Children Award. The award ceremony will take place at Child Advocates Annual Benefit Reception and Auction on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 beginning at 4:30pm at the Crystal Tea Room.

Patterned off TEDx style talks, SEXx Interactive is a multi-day sex-positive conference featuring workshops, academic presentations, art galleries, and performances. The Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC) will partner with the Vote for Homes! Coalition to provide training for Community Development Corporations (CDC) to register constituencies to vote in preparation for the Primary Elections on May 19th. This event will take place Tuesday, April 7th from3pm-5pm in PACDC’s offices located at 1315 Walnut Street Suite 1600. Attendees will learn how to register voters, Get out the Vote (GOTV) strategies and voter rights.
