The Urban Affairs Coalition presents Coalition U!


The mission of Coalition U is to help nonprofit organizations strengthen their infrastructure, build capacity, and maximize community impact. Coalition U offers a variety of capacity building seminars and workshops focused on improving overall organizational growth and development in order to make effective change in the communities they serve. Registration is required for all Coalition U events and complimentary lunch is provided at most events. The first session, The Key to Planning, takes place on Wednesday, July 13 at Wells Fargo. Attendees will hear from development experts about best practices and fundraising strategies to help organizations increase their fundraising potential.

The second session, Relationships Matter, is on Friday, July 29 at Peirce College. This session features leaders from the region's most impactful nonprofits and foundations. Panelists will share tips on relationship building and lessons they’ve learned during the fundraising process. At both sessions, attendees will have an opportunity to work in small group sessions to complete an annual fundraising plan for their organization.
