Economic Development Projects (EDP)

With over 32 years experience as the premier organization for promoting and monitoring inclusion, the Coalition's Economic Development Projects (EDP) department has worked closely with employers and communities to ensure the participation of Minority, Women, Disabled, and Local Business Enterprises (M/W/DS/LBE) on projects in the Philadelphia region and in major cities in the United States.

Since 1983, EDP has generated over $2 billion in contracts awarded to M/W/DS/LBE contractors, and more than $510 million for minority and female onsite workers.

EDP's economic inclusion initiatives are catalysts that:

  • Increase and enhance the capacity of firms owned by minorities, women, the disabled, and local entrepreneurs
  •  Spark innovation and opportunities for new entrepreneurs
  •  Provide job opportunities and increase employment
  •  Implement a company's construction and development inclusion measures to reach expected goals
