Event Details
Date:
July 30, 2013
Location:
Reading Terminal Market
51 N. 12th St.
Philadelphia, PA

MLK365 started this initiative five years ago in response to the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates by Cambridge Police Sergeant James Crowley. Gates was later invited by President Obama along with Sergeant Crowley to discuss the incident over beer at the White House.

During this incident, MLK 365 organized a Beer Summit in Center City to gather citizens to discuss race relations in Philadelphia and throughout the country.  MLK365 will be continuing this discussion on Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

The Summit will be held at Reading Terminal Market located on 51 North 12th St from 6pm-8pm. There will be beer, soft drinks, and snacks provided.  On-street parking will be available along with the parking garage at 12th and Filbert Streets. For more information please contact MLK365 at mlk365@globalcitizen365.org or call 215-851-1811.
