Crowdfunding is the practice of raising funds for your organization or funding a project by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet. Online crowdfunding is one of the best ways to engage your current base of supporters as well as reach out to and acquire new donors. Use what you’ve learned from Coalition U's Social Media Best Practices Series to engage your social media networks to crowdfund for your organization.

The Crowdfunding event will include a complimentary lunch and lecture led by Indiegogo, one of the Nation's top crowdfunding sites! The lecture and discussion will be moderated by Darisha Miller, Media Relations and Communications Expert at RAM Consulting Group, LLC.
