On Tuesday, May 14, 2013, The Wells Fargo Regional Foundation will be hosting “Introduction to Neighborhood Planning,” a free workshop about the planning process of revamping a neighborhood! Topics covered will include: what to do before you plan, choosing the right consultants, and how to get from planning to implementation. If your neighborhood is considering creating a revitalization plan this is the workshop for you!

The Wells Fargo Regional Foundation aims to improve the quality of life in low-income neighborhoods in the Delaware, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania area. They offer Neighborhood Planning Grants to support direct expenses incurred during the planning process. These grants can cover costs such as planning consultants, neighborhood organizing functions, and community meetings.

This event is open to the public and will be held from 9AM-1PM. If interested in attending, please contact Denise Motley at to be placed on the registration list and receive exact location details. Space is limited!
