Philadelphia’s faith community and KEYSPOT have teamed up to bridge the digital divide. On June 23, 2013, the Church of Christian Compassion will open its doors for worship and to help people get connected online. "Tech Sunday" will feature gospel artists JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise and Maurette Brown Clark along with host Lonnie Hunter from Philadelphia’s inspiration and gospel radio station, Praise 103.9.

Approximately 50% of Philadelphians still lack internet access and basic computer skills. "Tech Sunday" aims to inform community members about the importance of computer literacy and getting connected as an opportunity for economic empowerment!

KEYSPOT, powered by the Freedom Rings Partnership led by UAC, the City of Philadelphia, and Drexel University, delivers free internet access and computer training to all neighborhoods in Philadelphia. KEYSPOT’s services allow community members to look for employment, continue their education, or simply learn how to use a computer. With 79 KEYSPOTS located throughout the city, this initiative is guaranteed to help people navigate through the internet and gain the necessary skills needed to survive in the digital world.

Tech Sunday will be held at the Church of Christian Compassion located on 6121 Cedar Ave. Doors open at 4:30PM! For more information visit phillykeyspots.org or call 215-571-4279.
