Committee of Seventy

Date:
July 18, 2016

Voices of Voting is a fun, interactive (and completely FREE) short play commissioned by Committee of Seventy and written and directed by the award-winning artistic director David Bradley. The play takes us through the personal struggles of those who fought to secure the right to vote for African-Americans during the Civil Rights movement, connecting to the present-day challenge of engaging young people in the voting process. Come enjoy Voices of Voting for a lively, interactive event infused with music . And remember, “you don’t vote, you don’t count!”

While admission is FREE, reservations are required. To reserve tickets (or ask questions!), contact voicesofvoting@seventy.org.
