Summer Docent Camp at the Belmont Mansion!

The historic Belmont Mansion and Underground Railroad Museum is having a summer camp for children ages 10-18 years old with an interest in African American history.

Campers will:

  •    Learn to Conduct Museum Tours as a trained Docent
  •    Learn the History of the Peters Family Colonial Home (Belmont Mansion)
  •    Learn about the Underground Railroad
  •    Learn the Timeless Art of Quilting
  •    Learn to do Urban Archaeology
  •    Learn Gardening via participation in the Let's Move Obama Garden
  •   Visit to the National Archives each session

The Summer Docent Camp offers three two-week sessions from Monday-Thursday, 9am-3pm. Each session is $50 per week! Session I will begin on July 15th!
