UAC President Visits Treehouse Books

UAC President Sharmain Matlock-Turner recently visited Treehouse Books to view the facility and to spread the importance of literacy. Treehouse Books aims to grow and sustain a community of readers, writers, thinkers in North Central Philadelphia by offering youth an outlet to learn, explore, and have fun.  Sharmain met with a group of young girls’ ages 10-15 from Treehouse’s Girls Camp and discussed her favorite and most influential books.
