UAC Program Partner Moxie Women Committee Presents 15th Annual Warmth In Winter Drive

Date:
November 7, 2014

The Celebration of Moxie Women Initiative was created by Councilwoman at-large Blondell Reynolds Brown to conduct workshops and conferences for the personal and professional development of women throughout the Philadelphia region. The Moxie Women program consists of four events run annually: The Celebration of Moxie Women Conference, Warmth In Winter, Next Generation of Leadership and Senior Project.

On any given day, at any given time, there are on average more than 1,000 homeless children living in shelters, transitional homes and on the streets across the City of Philadelphia. UAC Program Partner Moxie Women is seeking your help to address these issues.

Please help our children keep warm this winter.

From Monday, November 3, 2014 to Friday, December 12, 2014, The Celebration of Moxie Women presents its 15th Annual Warmth In Winter Drive. Stop by any of these 12 locations (see PDF) to provide NEW hats, scarves, gloves and mittens for Philadelphia’s homeless and low income children.

For more information or a full list of drop off locations, contact Special Events Manager, Kellan White or by phone (215)-686-3438.
