WHAT WE DO

UAD is currently funded by the City’s Health Department to provided HIV Testing and Linkage to Primary Medical Care. Our primary target population is African American Heterosexuals. However we service anyone who wants to be tested. Any person that comes to us seeking help for drug and or alcohol issues we refer to treatment. NUAD also provides free HIV Home test kits for any individual that wishes to take an HIV test in the privacy of their own home. HIV negative individuals that are practicing behaviors that could put them at risk to being infected with HIV high risk will be referred to PrEP services.
