OVERVIEW

As a full fiscal-sponsored organization, UAC will assume all financial and legal responsibilities under our 501(c)(3); allowing you, our “Partner,” you to utilize of all of UAC’s services.

  • Fiduciary Services: our fiscal team provides a full-scale back-office, from grants management, financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable to insurance, auditing, and preparations of your 990 tax forms
  • HR Services: our HR team will work side-by-side with you, from employee recruitment, on-boarding, and benefits enrollment to payroll, workers compensation, and employee relations management
  • Shared Services: our partnership services team is your liaison to leverage growth, assisting with program development, capacity building, and other supports for your organization and staff

When your established organization becomes a Collaborative Services client, UAC will work with you as a central manager/distributor of funding for your project/program. UAC assumes fiduciary responsibility for all fund management, reporting, and compliance.

  • UAC is responsible for the financial reporting, programmatic reporting, insurance, auditing, and preparations of your 990 tax forms
  • Our fiscal team will work side-by-side with you and the funder to ensure compliance and maximize efficiency
  • We also advance cash payments, so your project/program has a stable and consistent cash flow environment

SEED STAGE

OVERVIEW

Seed Stage is UAC’s unique model for allowing individuals to launch their nonprofit in a safe, low-cost, low-risk environment, and give emerging organizations the resources and support to grow their impact-driven idea.

Some Seed Stage Facts:

  • Since 2016, 28 Nonprofit Startups have completed the Seed Stage process and have gone on to raise more than $500,000 to support their missions
  • UAC’s Seed Stage Program won the 1st place award for Race Equity and Social Justice Innovation from the 2019 Greater Philadelphia Social Innovation Awards
    • 53% of Seed Stagers are Leaders of Color – compared to a 19% Nonprofit Average;
    • 63% of Seed Stagers are Woman Leaders, compared to 45% Nonprofit Average
  • Our data shows that successful Seed Stage programs launch their pilot within 3-6 months of active fundraising, program design, one-on-one coaching, and leveraging resources across the Coalition
